MEMBER RIGHTS

Understand what you agree to.

BNR expects financial information to be complete, clear, understandable and current, in a language the member understands or chooses.

This page is a preparation guide. Birunga SACCO must confirm its own agreements, prices and requirements before you decide.

Ask Birunga SACCO
01

Clear, current information

Ask for the purpose, eligibility, documents, charges, interest, limits and repayment timing of a service in writing.

02

A language you understand

Choose Kinyarwanda, English or Français, ask about unfamiliar terms and request a copy of the agreement and charges.

03

Raise and follow up a concern

Record the issue, date and outcome you seek. Ask for acknowledgement, the next step and an escalation contact if it is not resolved.

Before you sign or pay

Use the written information from the SACCO to answer these questions. If an answer is unclear, ask before continuing.

What is the total cost?

Which fees, interest, penalties or withdrawal charges apply?

When will money be available?

Ask when the service is delivered, when payment is due and what could change the timing.

Which documents and security?

Request the requirements and the consequences for a guarantor or pledged property.

MUSANZE’S ECONOMY

A plan starts
with your life.

Musanze has agriculture, tourism, trade, construction and youth opportunities. These are local contexts, not a promise of Birunga products.

SERVICE CHARTER

Service should have a clear promise.

Before visiting, ask which office to use, its opening hours, the documents to bring and when to expect a reply. Keep copies of your messages and any documents you receive.

If the answer does not resolve your concern, ask how to follow up and which next level can review it.
