Your month.
Give it a plan.

Start with the money available to you and make room for what matters.

01 / KNOW WHERE YOU STAND

A useful plan starts
with what you know.

A salary, trading income or seasonal work: record what comes in and when it arrives.

  1. 01

    Use money actually available

For wages, use take-home income. With irregular work, plan for a quieter month; do not treat a new loan as earnings.

  2. 02

    Separate your commitments

List food, housing, transport and other essentials. Record debt payments separately so they are not counted twice.

  3. 03

    Plan, then review

Set amounts for goals and flexible spending. Each week, compare your plan with what you actually spent.

See how your month adds up

Enter 0 where nothing applies. Income should be after deductions. Your existing reserve is not counted as monthly income.

YOUR RESULTS

Your next step
starts here.

Enter your own figures, then calculate.

Planning only. This does not calculate account interest, SACCO charges or a lending decision. Figures are neither stored nor sent.

02 / A CASH RESERVE

Build a little
breathing room.

Choose a goal that fits your essential costs and the stability of your work. A target should not crowd out food or payments already due.

The reserve target multiplies essentials plus debt payments by your chosen months. A monthly surplus does not prove cash is available on each bill date: keep a calendar too.
